THRIVErs commit for a year long mentoring relationship, where they meet each other at least once a month for an hour to work on the mentoring objectives they have established in their mentoring contract. THRIVE supports both mentors and mentees to make their relationship successful, and help each other grow through an increasing repository of ‘nudges’.

In-person matching

We believe chemistry plays an important role in a successful mentoring relationship. Hence we hold chemistry meetings during the launch events where the pre-matched mentors & mentees find their best fit

Learning focus

During these events, we also conduct a basic training and introduce best-practice structural elements to ensure that the mentorship is successful and remains learning focused.

Nominal fees

Mentees pay a symbolic fee to cover the costs of the logistics of this event. Mentors who commit their time for a year towards the development of mentees attend for free.

As a Thrive mentor, you are invited to engage in a mentoring relationship which lasts for one year after you have been matched during the mentor-mentee matching event. During this year you are expected to meet with your mentee for at least an hour each month.

Attendance at the launch event is critical to ensure that we find the best fit mentee for you.
